Patagonia Sales support Coordinator

Our Bristol sales team is growing and we’re recruiting for this brand new and exciting position. Working as part of the Patagonia Sales Team, you would be the first point of contact for all new enquiries. It’s an ideal springboard into the travel industry, with the opportunity for career progression and comes with full training.

What you’ll be doing

Swoop Patagonia offers a vast choice of exciting trips throughout the whole of Patagonia to a very diverse mix of customers - from fairly independent hard core trekkers who just need logistical assistance, to those looking for us to provide a full travel service for their entire trip.

Reporting to the Patagonia Sales Manager, the crux of this key role is to quickly and efficiently respond to every new enquiry - by email and on the phone - understanding customer requirements, helping to answer initial questions, before introducing them to the most well-placed Patagonia Specialist in the team who will take the conversation forward. Our industry is competitive, so we need to be responsive. Think of it as a ‘concierge’ style role, adding significant value to both the customer’s experience and the in-house team alike.

Who you’ll be

You’ll need to be an outgoing, enthusiastic, positive self-starter with a strong ‘can do’ approach and be ruthlessly efficient to keep on top of things when it gets busy (and it does!). If you’re committed to outstanding customer service, love being part of a passionate team and enjoy exploring the world’s wilder places, this could be perfect for you.

Whilst we aren’t specifically looking for travel industry experience, proven success in a fast-paced customer-facing role is a ‘must’. You’ll love the sense of satisfaction of doing an outstanding job for every single customer, adding value at every step, live for the buzz of hitting your KPI’s, and the adulation from the team by lightening the load and making their busy job easier.

Perhaps you don’t love selling insurance, finance, real estate or whatever it is you’re currently involved with, and spend your days dreaming about your next trekking or travel adventure and want to bring your customer skills to a new purpose.  Or you’re simply looking for an exciting new challenge.
