About Swoop
We are a global community of over 100 adventure travel enthusiasts - ex-guides, avid travellers, and those with an adventurous spirit - spanning five continents. Since 2010, we’ve helped more than 15,000 people experience the trip of a lifetime in Antarctica, Patagonia and the Arctic. Our success is rooted in our intimate knowledge of these incredible regions, our deep care for their preservation, our commitment, as a B Corp, to doing what’s right for people and the planet and, above all, our connectedness as a global team.
About the role
We’re seeking an Antarctica Sales Specialist with a proven track record of high achievement in tailor-made or luxury travel sales. Ideally, you’ve sold Antarctic expeditions before, but we’re equally interested in candidates who have excelled in selling complex, high-value trips to other remote or experiential destinations — and are ready to specialise in the polar regions.
We’re expanding our global sales team and are particularly excited to connect with candidates based in Canada, where a strong culture of adventure travel and outbound exploration makes this a key market for Swoop.
You’ll bring the commercial drive, empathy, and consultative approach needed to guide customers through once-in-a-lifetime travel decisions. You're confident in managing the entire sales cycle, from discovery through to proposal, follow-up, and conversion — and consistently exceed individual targets.
This is a fast-paced, target-driven role. You’ll be proactive in business development, not just relying on inbound enquiries but also identifying and nurturing opportunities. You’ll know how to reinforce the sale through compelling written communication and be the kind of person who stays calm, focused, and resilient under pressure.
Key responsibilities
Manage the full sales cycle for tailor-made Antarctic expeditions — from initial enquiry through discovery, proposal, follow-up, and conversion
Consistently exceed individual sales targets by closing complex, high-value bookings with confidence and precision, with the opportunity to significantly increase earnings through performance
Design bespoke itineraries tailored to customer needs, drawing on deep destination knowledge and a consultative sales approach
Proactively generate new business, identifying and pursuing sales opportunities beyond inbound enquiries
Build strong customer relationships, creating trust through active listening, empathy, and expert guidance throughout the booking journey
Craft compelling written proposals and follow-ups that reinforce value and drive conversion
Maintain accurate sales records and manage pipelines using CRM tools and booking platforms
Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Experience, Product, and Marketing teams to deliver outstanding pre- and post-sale service
Stay up to date on Antarctic products and experiences, including vessels, itineraries, operators, and seasonal trends
Understand and embody Swoop’s four sustainability priorities and embed in your day-to-day responsibilities, decision making, and collaboration

You’re confident designing and selling bespoke, multi-component itineraries to remote or experiential destinations
