      Business Analyst

Location: UK Remote, Hybrid or Office-Based (Bristol, UK)

Hours:  Full-time (37.5 hrs/week), Monday to Friday - 9am - 5:30pm

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to play a key role in shaping the future of our systems and ways of working. This role will focus on taking a deep dive into our current technology landscape, including our CRM, CMS, and related platforms, to understand how they are used today across the business. You will work closely with stakeholders to map existing systems and processes, analyse data and system usage to generate insights, identify gaps and pain points, and define clear, practical requirements to support the selection and implementation of future systems. In addition, you will support change activities as part of delivery, helping the organisation transition smoothly to new processes and tools while ensuring they are aligned with how our teams work and set us up for long-term success.

Key responsibilities

  • Map and analyse current (“As-Is”) systems, including the CRM, to understand how they are used across the organisation

  • Map and maintain the end-to-end internal (“To-be”) processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement

  • Analyse data and system usage to generate insights that inform recommendations and decision-making for future systems and processes.

  • Identify gaps between current-state systems/processes and future requirements, and document clear, practical requirements for new systems.

  •  Evaluate, recommend, and support the selection of new systems and tools that align with business needs and strategic objectives.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure requirements accurately reflect business needs and support operational efficiency

  • Collaborate with project teams during design, testing, and implementation phases to ensure solutions meet defined requirements

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to support the business in optimising existing systems, processes, and data usage

  • Conduct process walkthroughs with stakeholders to support new processes and systems implementation

  • Assist with testing, validation, or user training during project implementation and rollout phases

  • Support the Head of Operations on strategic and operational projects

  • Understand and embody Swoop’s four sustainability priorities and embed in your day-to-day responsibilities, decision making, and collaboration 

About you 

  • Analytical with the ability to understand complex systems and processes.

  • Experienced in mapping current (“As-Is”) workflows and technology landscapes and defining future (“To-Be”) processes

  • Previous experience implementing a CRM solution such as HubSpot, encompassing requirements gathering, system configuration, data migration, integration with existing tools, and end-user training

  • You have a proven ability to develop clear, effective standard operating procedures and process documentation, and you can contribute thoughtful ideas for continuous improvement.

  • Comfortable working with data and system usage insights to inform decisions

  • Comfortable working across multiple teams and juggling competing priorities, you're collaborative and confident in navigating complexity

  • A self-starter by nature, you're curious, proactive, and unafraid to challenge the status quo to improve processes and outcomes

  • Skilled at supporting change, helping teams adopt new processes and systems smoothly

  • Comfortable working across multiple teams and juggling competing priorities, you're collaborative, confident and a team player

Employment details 

Holiday:

  • Twenty-five days paid holiday, in addition to your birthday and public holidays 

Working Hours:

  • This is a full-time role, typically 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday - 9am - 5:30pm 

Working Arrangements:

  • Remote (UK)/Hybridge or office-based (Bristol UK)
    Even for remote team members, occasional visits to our Bristol office may be required for training, team collaboration, or key meetings
